Bentley Mulsanne Hallmark series going to Geneva image

The British luxury automaker is finding a neat way of contradicting Rolls-Royce after an executive talked to the media and said they have no competitors – Bentley in return is preparing the new Hallmark Series by Mulliner.

It’s only available for the Mulsanne family and will be easily distinguishable thanks to the silver or gold detailing on the inside and better materials on the inside. They are only going to produce 50 units, with the immediate giveaway being the silver or carat-gold-plated retractable “Flying B” badge with the “Commissioned” lettering engraved on one side and “By Mulliner” on the other. Customers can opt for a single- or a two-tone finish with hand-painted pin striping running the length of the coachwork. Two types of front grilles can be chosen and there’s also a new set of 21-inch polished alloys.

Inside, the Mulsanne packs contrasting hides for the seats along with silver or gold embroidery, and the same for the inlay strips on all door panels which also get one of the two precious metals, depending on what the customer chose for the outside. There are also custom metallic silver or gold hide lines for the storage compartments and all of the veneers are matched in color with the secondary hide hue. Exclusivity is clear – even the illuminated treadplates have individual numbering and there are also Alcantara rear cushions – as well as an optional Mulliner cocktail cabinet.
