Bentley has officially introduced a new and sportier version of the Mulsanne, called the Mulsanne Speed, which will be making its debut at the 2014 Paris Motor Show.
The brand new Bentley Mulsanne Speed has been officially unveiled and it will be heading towards the 2014th edition of the Paris Motor Show, which will be opening its gates on the 2nd of October. The model in question will become available in four new exterior colors, the Candy Red, the Spectre, the Marlin and the Camel and it will have a dark tint finish on the lower bumper grilles, on the radiator grille and on the wing vents.
Bentley says that the Mulsanne Speed is also getting the 21-inch wheels, with finishes such as the painted, polished or dark tint accents. The cabin of the luxurious vehicle is coming in with diamond quilting for the seats and for the door panels, with new trims, with special drilled pedals and with several other tweaks to help it put some distance on the current model.
Power to the new Bentley Mulsanne Speed is being provided by a 6.75 liter V8 engine, which is capable of producing no less than 537 HP (395 kW) and 1,100 Nm (811 lb-ft) of torque. The 0 to 100 km/h acceleration is made in 4.9 seconds and top speed stands at 305 km/h (190 mph). The vehicle in question will be priced from approximately 315,000 euros and it will be making its public debut at the French automotive event.
