Luxury automaker Bentley has released the first official image with the SUV which will be hitting the streets in a couple of years.
Originally unveiled as a concept car a few years ago, the brand new Bentley SUV is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the company releasing its first official image. According to the car manufacturer, the final production version of the Bentley SUV will be introduced in 2016.
“Bentley Motors today releases the first picture of the Bentley SUV, due to hit roads in 2016. It will be the most luxurious and powerful SUV on the market, setting it apart from any other SUV, true to the brand hallmarks of luxury, performance, quality and craftsmanship”, says the carmaker in its official press release.
The new Bentley SUV is part of an 800 million GBP investment made and the company expects to sell approximately 3,000 units of the luxury SUV annually. In order to build the model, an extra 250 staff have been hired and more “forces” will join before production kicks off. Bentley has already received over 2000 pre-orders for its SUV despite the model not having an official price just yet or, as you can see for yourselves, it doesn’t even have a name yet. One thing is for sure, though, the Bentley SUV will be more expensive than a high-end Range Rover.
