The final production version of the Bentley SUV is expected to be named the Falcon and to make its way onto the market over the following years.
After it was officially presented to the public earlier this year during the 2012 Geneva Motor Show in March, the Bentley EXP 9 F SUV is entering our news once again, this time with some rumors which are saying that the production model might be named Falcon. The Volkswagen sub-brand isn’t saying anything official anymore about a possible production version of the Bentley SUV but that doesn’t mean that the model won’t hit the market over the following years and recent rumors are saying that the luxurious SUV will probably be named the Falcon.
Additional details on the final production version of the Bentley SUV are limited for the moment but a quick reminder, the EXP 9 F SUV’s design has been inspired by the Blower Bentleys from the late 1920s, but the Bentley SU is actually a fusion of crafted luxury and advanced in-car technology, with a 6.0 liter twin turbo W12 engine, which is mated to an eight-speed transmission. The Bentley SUV will become the third model in the company’s lineup, after the Mulsanne and the Continental, once it will hit the market in its final form probably in 2015. Additional details on the Bentley Falcon will be announced close to its launch.
