Luxury automaker Bentley has announced the debut of the high-adrenaline Winter Driving Experience, which has recently kicked off in Finland, close to the Arctic Circle.
The 2014 Bentley Winter Driving Experience will offer guests the chance to unwind in the surroundings of the Ruka Peak resort, which is situated just 60 km from the edge of the Arctic Circle. The resort will offer a wide selection of hotel and private chalet accommodation options, with first class local cuisine, open fires, saunas and the flying form Helsinki by private jet.
The whole experience will kick off on the 6th of February, next year, until the 6th of March, and guests will get to spend time developing advanced techniques with Juha Kankkunen, the four-time WRC champion. The Power on Ice 2014 will see the debut of the new Bentley Flying Spur sedan, powered by a 6.0 liter W12 twin turbocharged engine, producing 616 HP and being able to speed up to 322 km/h (200 mph), making it “the fastest luxury four-door production car”, as the company says.
“The Flying Spur is going to be an excellent addition to the Power on Ice experience and we’re looking forward to showing what it is capable of. There’s going to be something special about driving a luxury car you’d expect to see in Monte Carlo or London across the snow and frozen lakes”, said Kankkunen.
