The famous Italian design house Stile Bertone has released the first preview sketches of the Nuccio Concept, ahead of its official debut at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show next month.
While Pininfarina is teasing the Cambiano concept for Geneva Motor Show, Bertone saw the opportunity to do something and the Nuccio concept was recently teased, ahead of its debut at the same automotive event. According to the Italian design house, the Bertone Nuccio concept has been made as a tribute to the company’s 100th anniversary, since the firm was founded back in 1912, by Giovanni Bertone. After World War II, the son of Giovanni, Nuccio Bertone, has taken over the company from his father and separated it into two divisions, Carrozzeria, for manufacturing and Stile Bertone, for styling.
Even if the Bertone Nuccio concept has been teased for the upcoming Geneva Motor Show event next month, the company didn’t release any official details on the model, but according to Bertone, this will be a radical sports car concept, and the design has been created by the design director, Michael Robinson, as part of paying his tribute to the firm’s design heritage. Besides the European automotive event next month, the Nuccio concept will be hitting other exhibitions around the globe, including the Beijing Motor Show in April, the Laguna Seca in the US in August and the Florence event in Italy in September.
