If you’re looking to have an exclusive automobile from an exotic supercar manufacturer you’ve actually heard off and can see tangible results of their work then Sweden’s Koenigsegg is among the few options.
And by the way you can be exclusive inside the exclusive Koenigsegg owners’ club as well. That’s because just six units for customers around the world have been produced with the Koenigsegg One:1 monikers, making it one of the ultra-rare modern supercars. And since all of them have found their homes already, if you want to access this ultra-exclusive club you’ll need to set your eyes on the one and only One:1 development prototype ever produced, which has recently popped up for sale in the United Kingdom at Super Vettura. Bearing the chassis number #7106 and called development car #00 this is the vehicle that was used to present to the world the One:1 programme at the Geneva Motorshow back last year. This is also a record-setting supercar because it has the best 0-186-0 mph sprint and is the quickest production car to go round the Spa Francorchamps and the Suzuka race tracks.
The guys over at Super Vettura are looking to get rich as they are calling it a day if the new owner shells $6 million – just consider the US-spec base price was $2.85 million. Pretty insane, but so is the spec sheet: 5.0-litre twin-turbo V8 under the hood delivering 1360 hp to a total weight of 1360 kg, which delivers both the name and the perfect power-to-weight ratio.
