Bill Gates has been recently spotted in the United States in his Porsche 959 while he was out to dinner with his wife.
We all know who Bill Gates is so we won’t start talking about this but what we can talk about is his passion for cars because this classic Porsche 959 isn’t growing in trees and an old vehicle needs a lot of special attention to look like that. The German sports car, which is owned by Bill Gates, has been recently spotted outside a Bellevue restaurant, where the Microsoft founder was taking dinner with his wife.
As a quick reminder, the Porsche 959 is a sports car made between 1986 and 1989, coming as a two-door coupe and with a rear-engine and four-wheel drive layout. The Porsche 959 was produced in just 337 units and the model has been replaced by the Porsche 911 GT1. The 959 is 4,260 mm long, 1,840 mm wide and 1,280 mm tall, with a curb weight of 1,450 kg. The Porsche 959’s twin-turbocharged flat-six could help it accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.7 seconds and the quarter mile is done in 11.9 seconds, which is very impressive for a 23-year old car.
