And it may very well be all a petrol head needs!
Over these past two years since McLaren has introduced the P1 in its final production form we have seen some pretty wacky finished ones but this may very well be our favorite. It is coming from Belgium, where its new owner has taken delivery of it recently, and it has a two-tone paintjob with matte black and metallic black. Add the black finished 12-spoke wheels covering the red brake calipers and you end up with probably the best looking hybrid hypercar out there. I mean, yes, it’s all a matter of taste in the end, but you have to admit that you wouldn’t mind waking up to this in your garage!
Only 375 units of the McLaren P1 will be produced and all of them have been sold out. This is the most powerful road-legal supercar wearing the brand’s badges over its body and it is also the first hybrid put together in Woking. The P1 is considered to be the spiritual successor of the iconic F1 and it has been presented to the public at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. It has an upgraded 3.8 liter twin turbo V8 engine under its hood, working together with an electric motor. The total output sent to the rear-wheel drive, through a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, stands at 903 HP and 978 Nm of torque. This is enough to allow it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 2.8 seconds and to reach a top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph).
