A black unit of the stunning McLaren P1 has been recently spotted in Switzerland, where it was quietly sitting around in a parking lot.
The McLaren P1 may have been officially unveiled almost a year ago, during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, but almost every time the British supercar is spotted somewhere, it instantly becomes news. The images posted below are showing the impressive hybrid supercar while it was quietly sitting around in a parking lot, wrapped in what is possibly the hottest shade ever used on it, black. The McLaren P1 is getting black body, black wheels and a black interior, being complemented by the red brake calipers and the reflectors.
The main rivals of the McLaren P1 are the Ferrari LaFerrari and the Porsche 918 Spyder. The British supercar has a 3.8 liter twin turbo V8 petrol engine under its hood, which is the same one used on the MP4-12C but with a different output. The unit is backed up by a lightweight electric motor and the whole assembly is producing a total output of 903 HP and 978 Nm (722 lb-ft) of torque, sent to the RWD through a seven-speed dual clutch transmission.
