A Porsche 918 Spyder finished in a bright Blue Rocket shade has been spotted recently, in Switzerland.
Over the past few months we have seen some weird but appealing shades of the Porsche 918 Spyder as customers have left behind the classic White, Grey and Black and went towards some different colors. The hypercar pictured below is finished in a Blue Rocket shade and it is definitely one of the brightest ones seen. The model has been equipped with green brake calipers too and we have to admit that it is a well deserved breath of fresh air.
As you probably already know by now, the Porsche 918 Spyder is the fastest and most powerful street-legal Porsche ever created. The model in question has been officially presented to the public back in September, last year, during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. It is rivaling the Ferrari LaFerrari and the McLaren P1 and it packs a 4.6 liter V8 engine under its hood, backed up by two electric motors. The assembly is good for a total of 887 HP (661 kW) and 1,275 Nm (940 lb-ft) of torque. The Porsche 918 Spyder can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in less than 3 seconds and it has a top speed of 345 km/h (214 mph).
