After officially pulling the wraps off a similar version of the M4 Coupe, BMW has just unveiled the so-called 1-Series DTM Sport Edition.
BMW has just confirmed a report popping in last week which was announcing a special edition of the 1-Series. The model in question has been called the BMW 1-Series DTM Sport Edition and it is coming with some interesting bits and pieces, aimed towards the racer in you who is looking towards a premium hot hatch. The vehicle has been designed to celebrate Marco Wittman’s DTM championship win, just like the M4 DTM Champion Edition, and it is adding some interesting items to it.
The BMW 1-Series DTM Sport Edition is replacing the usual M Sport package which will no longer be available starting next month. The package is adding features such as the high gloss black interior trim, the xenon headlights, the 18-inch Star spoke style 386 M alloy wheels and several other tweaks to make it hotter. Interestingly, other details from this kit are basically identical to the usual M Sport package, but don’t say that to your average Bimmer fan because he will probably not agree. No pricing details have been announced yet.
