BMW has shown its new 1-series M Coupé undisguised for the first time in an official teaser video. The clip features the company’s boss driving a completely uncovered BMW 1 Series M Coupe on the race track.
The production version of the 1 Series M Coupe clearly sports more aggressive bodywork and beautifully sculpted air intakes. The BMW 1-Series M is apparently motivated by a 6-cylinder, bi-turbo engine that develops around 340 hp coupled solely with a manual transmission. Transferring drive to the road is a lightly tweaked version of the M3’s M differential.
The car will be featured at the Detroit Auto Show and unofficially unveiled before the media on December 12.
