The new BMW 1-Series has been recently launched in India, where the cheapest model will set you back for Rs 20.90 lakh.
BMW says that the 118d is being offered as the base trim and this costs 20.90 lakh. This version is coming with standard Eco mode, Brake Energy Regeneration, six airbags, ABS, CD player with aUX, rear parking sensors, start/stop button, automatic headlights, fog lights and 16-inch alloy wheels. The 118d Sportline is the next model in the lineup and this costs Rs 25.90 lakh. The BMW 118d Sportline is adding the electric seat adjust with memory, sliding front armrest, BMW’s iDrive controller, handsfree, USB, dual-zone climate control and more.
The top of the line is the BMW 118d Sportline Plus, which costs Rs 29.90 lakh. This model is coming with keyless go, sunroof, rear conditioning vents, larger 17-inch alloy wheels and some other tweaks. The BMW 1-Series hatchback is coming with a choice of two engines, the 1.6 liter turbo petrol, which is producing a total output of 136 HP, and the 2.0 liter turbo diesel, which is good for 143 HP. Both units are mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission, signed by ZF.
