The aftermarket specialists at G-Power have recently developed a new upgrade program for the BMW 1M Coupe which is bringing a power boost and some limited design features.
According to the tuning company, the BMW 1M Coupe in question is coming with a new exhaust system which is 20 percent lighter than the standard one thanks to the use of titanium and carbon fiber and G-Power says that other features include the bigger capacity for the boost cooling system, the flow-optimized downpipes for lowering gas temperature and last but not least a new engine software.
“The BMW 1M Coupé is closely related to its bigger brother the BMW M3 with which it shares the same front and real axles. Unfortunately when it comes to the power output figures the BMW 1M Coupé does not play in the same league with the rest of the family. Help is coming from G-POWER with its latest package for the youngest member of the M-Family”, as the tuner is saying in its official press release.
Thanks to the modifications mentioned above, the total output of the 1M Coupe’s engine has increased to 435 HP from the standard 340 HP and to 590 Nm of torque (435 lb-ft) from the previous 500 Nm (368 lb-ft). The BMW 1M Coupe by G-Power can now accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds before reaching a top speed of 300 km/h. No details on the price tag have been announced yet.
