The German aftermarket specialists at Manhart have recently pulled the wraps off their latest creation, an upgrade program for the BMW 1M Coupe, which is now coming with 465 HP.
After revealing the upgraded BMW M5, the guys at Manhart have decided to go after the vehicle’s smaller brother, the 1M Coupe, which is now getting a new tuning kit. Manhart has named the BMW 1M Coupe in question the MH1 S Biturbo and the main focus was on the engine which has received custom downpipes, carbon airbox, new air guide and a software update, along with a larger water cooler and a bigger charging air cooler.
The result of all these changes is an extra 125 HP (93 kW) added to the performance of the BMW 1M Coupe (MH1 S Biturbo) compared to the standard version and the total output is brought to 465 HP (347 kW). Other modifications on the “pocket rocket” include the carbon fiber trunk lid, mirror caps and motor cowl, along with the MHR front spoiler and new tail diffuser. The model is now sitting on 9×20 front wheels wrapped in Continental Sport Contact 5P 245/30 ZR20 tires and 10.5×20 rear wheels wrapped in 295/25 ZR20 high performance tires. No prices on these upgrades have been announced yet.
