The German aftermarket specialists at Vorsteiner have revealed an upgrade package for the BMW 1M Coupe, named the GTS-V 1M.
According to Vorsteiner, the BMW 1M Coupe in question has been fitted with carbon fiber body panels, a sports exhaust system, a rear spoiler and a fresh set of alloy wheels. Vorsteiner says that all of these modifications make the vehicle lighter, but the customer will weigh less too, because only the carbon fiber panels are quite expensive, not to mention everything else. The BMW 1M Coupe by Vorsteiner is now sitting on a fresh set of 20-inch or 21-inch rims made out of aluminum T6-6062, which is used in the aeronautic industry.
The BMW 1M Coupe GTS-V is available with a choice of two different exhaust systems, both of them offering 15 HP and 6 Nm of torque more on the German vehicle, and they fit in just well without any modifications to the model. Future customers of the upgrade pack made by Vorsteiner can choose between a stainless steel exhaust or a titanium sports exhaust, with the latter weighing less and costing more. There is no official word on other modifications done to the BMW 1M Coupe or the price list just yet.
