BMW has recently announced the price list for the 2-Series Active Tourer in the United Kingdom, where the model in question will arrive this fall.
The newly unveiled BMW 2-Series Active Tourer is the company’s first ever front-wheel drive model and it has nothing in common with the 2-Series Coupe, as its name is suggesting. The engine lineup has been borrowed from the MINI and the entry-level 218i is coming with a 1.5 liter three-cylinder unit, producing 134 HP. The 2.0 liter diesel engine, in the 218d, is developing a total of 148 HP, with a claimed fuel economy of 68.9 mpg.
The BMW 2-Series Active Tourer lineup will be expanded soon with the addition of the 220i, 220d and 216d, along with the all-wheel drive xDrive versions. Standard items found on the model include the Bluetooth, USB, 6.5-inch display system, automatic tailgate, DAB digital radio, sports multi function steering wheel, dual zone air conditioning, keyless go and much more. Prices for the entry-level 218i version will start at 22,150 GBP while for the 218d diesel its future customers will have to pay 24,205 GBP. More details on the BMW 2-Series Active Tourer in the UK will be announced close to its launch.
