A new rendering with the BMW 2-Series Active Tourer is giving us a preview in the upcoming long wheelbase version of the MPV, which should carry up to 7 people.
The German based automaker BMW is currently working on a 7-seater version of the 2-Series Active Tourer and one of the first renderings to hit the web with the upcoming model is coming from Theophilus Chin. The two images posted below are imagining what the model in question may look like, once it will be officially unveiled. The renderings have been created using spy shots of the upcoming model.
The BMW 2-Series Active Tourer long wheelbase will be riding on the same UKL platform with front-wheel drive and it will be coming, besides the expanded wheelbase, with bigger rear doors, a taller roof and some other tweaks. The engine lineup will be including the three-cylinder 1.5 liter petrol burner, with its 136 HP (100 kW) and 220 Nm (162 lb-ft) of torque, along with the 2.0 liter four-cylinder with 231 HP (170 kW) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque and the 2.0 liter diesel with 150 HP (110 kW) and 330 Nm (243 lb-ft) of torque.
