The German based automaker BMW has recently introduced the online configurator for the 2014 2-Series, in the United States.
Good news for those of you living in the United States who are looking into the new BMW 2-Series because the carmaker has recently launched the online configurator for the replacement of the much loved 1-Series. Prices for the BMW 228i, the cheapest version of the model, have been set at 32,100 USD, without the 925 USD destination charge. This is coming with 240 HP and 258 lb-ft of torque, mated to a standard 6-speed manual transmission.
The BMW M235i, on the other hand, which is the most expensive variant of the new 2-Series, and also the most powerful one, can be yours from 43,100 USD. This version is coming with a 3.0 liter turbocharged straight-six engine, which is developing a total output of 322 HP (240 kW) and it has a peak torque of 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torque. The 0 to 100 km/h sprint takes just 4.8 seconds in this variant, with the automatic transmission, but order the manual and it will be 0.2 seconds quicker. Top speed has been electronically limited to 250 km/h (155 mph). You can check out the online configurator for the BMW 2-Series Coupe here.
