The German based automaker BMW is planning to introduce the 2-Series Coupe next year, when the model will go on sale in March.
An official announcement on the subject hasn’t been made yet but according to the guys at Bimmer Today, the 2-Series Coupe will hit the market in March 2014. The model will follow the same path as the rebranded 4-Series, which will receive, besides the already unveiled Coupe, a Convertible and possibly a Gran Coupe. The last model for the 2-Series hasn’t been announced yet but it is certain that the drop top will become a reality.
The upcoming BMW 2-Series Coupe will come, initially, in 220d, 218i and 225i versions, and after that, the M235i and the M235i xDrive will hit the market. The top of the line model will be the M2, which is expected to be unveiled in 2015. This version will have an estimated starting price of 52,700 euros (45,000 GBP / 69,000 USD). The final production version of the BMW 2-Series Coupe will probably be unveiled in September, during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. Additional details on the model remain unknown for the moment.
