The first official images of the brand new BMW 235i Coupe have recently hit the web, ahead of its official unveil scheduled for October 25.
The brand new BMW 235i Coupe is being placed into the spotlights once again, a few days after some dealership images have hit the web, this time with the help of the first official images, which have leaked. The BMW 235i Coupe will be the top of the line version of the model if an M2 Coupe will not be planned. The model in question will weight 1,470 kg (3,240 lbs) and it will be more evolved than the 1-Series Coupe, which is its predecessor.
The same 3.0 liter straight six-cylinder turbocharged engine will be found under its hood which is also used on the hatchback. The unit is good for 322 HP (240 kW) and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torque. Power will be sent to the wheels through an automatic transmission, which will help the model accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.8 seconds, or in 5 seconds with a manual gearbox. More details on the BMW 2-Series Coupe will be announced on Friday, the 25th of October, once the model will be officially unveiled.
