The BMW 3.0 CSL Hommage R Concept has been shown at the 2015 Chantilly Arts & Elegance Richard Mille.
After being shown last month during the 2015 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, in California, time has come for the BMW 3.0 CSL Hommage R Concept to make its European premiere as well as it has been brought to the 2015 Chantilly Arts & Elegance Richard Mille. The model has remained basically the same bringing the eye-catching elements, the unique design and the Brilliant White shade covering its body, along with the BMW racing livery.
The concept car also has a set of lightweight alloy wheels, finished in a golden shade, along with the bolder splitter and the revised kidney grilles. Inside it, we can find the carbon fiber racing-inspired seats, the six-point racing harnesses, some custom parts, the white leather upholstery, wood trim, a carbon fiber roll cage, the steering column mounted display which is showing track and car info, the emergency engine off switch, a fire extinguisher and so on.
The vehicle is also bringing the illuminated sections inside it, and BMW has also created a unique helmet with a visor acting as a head-up display, showing the engine revs, speed and gear engaged, along with a unique racing suit with illuminated piping lighting. The BMW 3.0 CSL Hommage R Concept has been designed to celebrate 40 years of BMW North America but despite being brought to two separate events, the carmaker still hasn’t released any performance info on it.
