The brand new BMW 3.0 CSL Hommage R Concept has been officially unveiled, over the web at the moment, as it will be making its public debut at the 2015 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
The BMW madness continues and after pulling the wraps off the new M4 GTS Concept, the German based automaker has introduced the new 3.0 CSL Hommage R. The model in question will be making its public debut at the 2015 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance and if you think that this sounds familiar, you’re right because BMW has unveiled the 3.0 CSL Hommage at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este. The brand new one is nothing more than a racing version which is getting the Brilliant White exterior design, the revised front grille, the 21-inch lightweight alloy wheels and the BMW M racing stripes.
The interior design of the car hasn’t been left aside either as this is now coming with carbon fiber seats wrapped in white leather upholstery, six-point safety harnesses, a carbon fiber roll cage, eBoost charging indicator, wood trim with illuminated sections, a fire extinguishing system, a steering column mounted display, an emergency shut-off switch and several other goodies.
BMW has also created a unique helmet with a visor which is acting as a head-up display, showing the engine revs, the car’s speed and which gear engaged, along with a unique racing suit with illuminated piping lighting up to show the “progress of information”. If you were hoping to find out some performance details on the topic, you will be disappointed because BMW hasn’t released any. Chances are we will hear more about the new BMW 3.0 CSL Hommage R Concept during the 2015 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, when this will be officially presented.
