The facelifted version of the BMW 3-Series has been recently caught on camera, by our spy photographers, while it was being tested.
Even if the new generation of the BMW 3-Series has been on the market since 2012, the German based automaker is currently working on a mild facelift for the model in question, which has been already caught on camera by our spy photographers. The 2015 BMW 3-Series pictured below has a few visible changes made to its exterior design and this includes the full LED headlights instead of the Xenon lamps, or the new front bumper with its modified air intakes, amongst others.
An all new range of three-cylinder petrol and diesel engines will be offered to the updated BMW 3-Series and this is where the majority of modifications will be made. The 1.5 liter units will become available in a wide range of models in the future, such as the new MINI generation, the 1-Series, the 2-Series, the 3-Series and the 4-Series. The engines will also be offered for the 5-Series and also to the i8. New or updated driver assistance system and comfort features will also be offered onto the facelifted 3-Series. The updated model may be hitting the market sometimes this year and don’t act too surprised if you will see it in Paris, this October.
