Our spy photographers have managed to capture the facelifted version of the BMW 3-Series on camera for the very first time in their two body styles, Sedan and Touring.
The German based automaker BMW is currently working on a facelift for the new generation of the 3-Series. Despite the model in question has been on the market only since 2012, it will be getting ready for an update. The images posted below have been caught on a public road and they are showing two test mules, in different body styles, wearing some light camouflage on their front fascia, which suggest that changes will be limited to that area.
The updated version of what is probably the most important model in BMW’s lineup will be coming with a new front bumper, modified air intakes, optional full LED headlights and rumors are saying that the most significant updates will be made under the hood, where the model will debut the three-cylinder petrol and diesel engines. Updated driver assistance systems, like the traffic-jam assistant, from the 5-Series, will also be added. More details on the facelifted version of the BMW 3-Series will probably be announced next year, when it is expected to be unveiled.
