BMW has announced a special edition of the 3-Series Gran Turismo, called the Luxury Lounge, for the Japanese auto market.
BMW is trying to make its 3-Series Gran Turismo more appealing to customers and with Japan being known for its taste in weird looking vehicles, chances of it becoming a success over there are quite high. This is probably what the company’s executives had in mind when they have created a new special edition of the model. This has been called the BMW 3-Series Gran Turismo Luxury Lounge and it will only become available for order in the Asian country.
According to the car manufacturer, the new BMW 3-Series Gran Turismo Luxury Lounge will be available in the Imperial Blue Brilliant and the Alpine White body colors, along with the Dakota leather upholstery, for the cabin. The model in question has received features such as the Driving Assistant package, the head-up display, the heated seats, the parking assistant and so on. Power to it is being provided by the 2.0 liter petrol turbocharged engine, which is capable of producing a total output of 184 HP (135 kW) and a peak torque of 270 Nm (199 lb-ft). The unit is connected to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The BMW 3-Series Gran Turismo Luxury Lounge will become available for order in just 140 units in Japan and it will go on sale starting from the 1st of April. No pricing details are known so far.
