The German based automaker BMW is planning to unveil the 3-Series GT F34 during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.
After it was spied a lot of times this year, mostly on the Nurburgring, the BMW 3-Series GT F34 is entering our news once again, this time with a rumor, which is saying that the model is expected to be officially presented to the public at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show in March. The BMW 3-Series GT is expected to get the same engine lineup from the regular 3-Series F30, including the four-cylinder turbo diesel found on the 320d, the four-cylinder petrol turbo from the 328i and even the powerful six-cylinder turbo found on the 335i.
All engines are expected to be mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission as standard and the final production version of the model should hit the market in 2013 as a 2014 model year. The BMW 3-Series GT F34 will have a simple hatchback design rather than the twin trunk arrangement and, unlike its larger brother, the F30, this one will be sportier. Additional details on the BMW 3-Series GT are limited for the moment and will probably be announced during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.
