The German based automaker BMW has brought a new version of the 3-Series Sports Wagon to the 2013 the 328d.
The BMW 328d Sports Wagon has been already announced for the 2013 New York Auto Show, a few weeks ago, and now the model is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the carmaker announcing the first details on it. The BMW 328d is being powered by a 2.0 liter diesel engine, following the same path as the 328i, with the 2.0 liter turbocharged petrol unit. The total output is estimated to stand around 180 BHP, and this should allow it to sprint form 0 to 60 mph in 7.2 seconds.
The BMW 328d is rumored to return 45 mpg on the highway and it will come with rear-wheel drive, but if safety is what you’re concerned about, you should know that BMW will also offer the xDrive version. Prices for the BMW 328d will start at around 40,000 USD. Besides the BMW 328d, the carmaker has also brought the 3-Series GT to the same automotive event. The model has made its debut across the U.S. and it’s coming with either a 2.0 liter turbo four-cylinder petrol, or a 3.0 liter straight six turbo. Prices for the 3-Series GT will start at 42,000 USD and it will go on sale across the U.S. this autumn.
