The brand new BMW 4-Series Cabrio has been recently caught testing on public roads, wearing some very light camouflage on its body.
The BMW 4-Series, which is actually a renamed BMW 3-Series Coupe and Cabrio, is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of some new spy photos, which are showing the model wearing light camouflage on its body while being tested on public roads. The BMW 4-Series Cabrio, or the F33 as it will also be known, is coming with a hard top instead of a soft top, because this has been appreciated by Chinese customers on its previous generation, despite the fact the Americans wanted a soft top.
The German based automaker’s decision of using a hard top instead of a soft top will probably cost them some customers in the United States, but the gain is higher than the loss, because China will simply love this car. The BMW 4-Series Cabrio is expected to use the same engine lineup as the Coupe, which will most likely be carried over from the new 3-Series F30 generation. An M4 Cabrio will also hit the market at a later time. Additional details on the model are limited for the moment and will probably be announced close to its launch.
