The first official images with the brand new BMW 4-Series Convertible have just leaked all over the web, revealing the model from just about every angle.
With the full-specs of the 2-Series Coupe leaking in the company’s South African division and now the 4-Series Convertible leaking in official images, the German based automaker BMW seems to have some internal problems, but we’re not that sorry as we get to see future production cars or learn about them. The upcoming BMW 4-Series Convertible will be based on the 4-Series Coupe and it will replace the current BMW 3-Series Convertible.
The new BMW 4-Series Convertible will get an engine lineup which will include the 2.0 liter four-cylinder turbocharged unit, with its 240 HP (179 kW), along with the 3.0 liter six-cylinder, producing 300 HP (224 kW). The 0 to 100 km/h sprint in the latter option should be made in just 5.5 seconds, with a 250 km/h (155 mph) electronically limited top speed. The BMW 4-Series Convertible, in its final production version, will be officially presented to the public during the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show. More details on the model will be announced during the North American automotive event.
