BMW has introduced the online configurator for the 4-Series Gran Coupe, in the United States, on the company’s official website.
After it has been officially unveiled back in February, and then brought to the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, one month later, the BMW 4-Series Gran Coupe is ending up in our news once again, this time with the car manufacturer releasing the online configurator. The model in question is based on the new 3-Series generation and it’s basically a smaller version of the 6-Series Gran Coupe. It stands at 4,638 mm in length, 1,825 mm in width and it’s riding on a 2,810 mm long wheelbase.
The four-door coupe has a 112 mm longer roof and it’s sitting 12 mm higher than the 4-Series Coupe, providing a smoother and sleeker appearance. The 4-Series Gran Coupe has a trunk capacity of 480 liters, 35 liters more than its two-door brother, and this can increase up to 1,300 liters with the rear seats folded. The engine lineup includes the 428i Gran Coupe, with 240 HP and 345 Nm of torque, coming from a 2.0 liter engine, or the 435i Gran Coupe, with 300 HP and 406 Nm of torque, from the 3.0 liter six-cylinder unit. The online configurator for the BMW 4-Series Gran Coupe can be accessed here.
