A new rendering image with the BMW 4-Series Gran Coupe has recently hit the web and it might provide us with a first look into the final production version of the model.
The German based automaker BMW has already announced its plans to introduce a Gran Coupe version of the new 4-Series and, with the Coupe being unveiled just a few days ago, rendering artists have found the right basis for the model. The image posted above represents a rendering of the BMW 4-Series Gran Coupe and, just like its larger brother, the 6-Series Gran Coupe, it’s looking quite good.
According to the guys at Bimmer Post, the final production version of the BMW 4-Series Gran Coupe will debut sometimes next year, possible in late 2014 or even early 2015. The model will come with four doors and with a sloping roofline, to give it that “four-door coupe look”. As for the engine lineup, this will most likely be shared with the one of the new 4-Series Coupe, so expected the 240 HP (179 kW) 2.0 liter four-cylinder turbocharged unit, in the 428i, as well as the 300 HP (224 kW) 3.0 liter six-cylinder engine, in the 435i. More details on the BMW 4-Series Gran Coupe will be announced close to its debut.
