The German based automaker BMW is planning to release the 4-Series Gran Coupe in late 2013.
After Mercedes-Benz is getting ready to launch the CLA, previewed by the Concept Style Coupe (CSC) at the Beijing Motor Show last month and Audi’s A5 Sportback which is already leading the way, BMW is planning to develop a new model, named the 4-Series Gran Coupe. The German based automaker will follow the same path as the 6-Series Gran Coupe, which was recently released, with its upcoming 4-Series Gran Coupe, and the upcoming model will share the same front fascia as the 3-Series F30.
According to the guys at autoexpress.co.uk, who have also provided the image above this article, the BMW 4-Series Gran Coupe will get the same engine lineup as the Coupe and Convertible. Once the model will hit the market, it will become available as the 420d, which will return 65mpg, as the 428i, with a 2.0 liter turbo engine, and a 435i, with the six-cylinder unit developing 302 BHP. The 4-Series Gran Coupe will be soon followed by the M4 Gran Coupe, which is expected to use a six-cylinder tubo engine, with 450 BHP. Prices for the 4-Series Gran Coupe will start at 30,000 GBP, and the model will hit the market late next year.
