A new rendering of the BMW 4-Series GranCoupe is showing us how the model may look like once it will hit the market later on this year.
The development of the BMW 4-Series GranCoupe isn’t taking us by surprise as the model in question has already been caught on camera by our spy photographers over these past few months but what we can see, for the first time, even if this is a virtually created vehicle, is how it may look like once it will become available for order. The brand new BMW 4-Series GranCoupe will be based on the 4-Series Coupe and it will get two extra doors.
The wheelbase of the model will be retained from the regular 3-Series and 4-Series Coupe and it will stand at 2,810 mm, but rumors are saying that it will be slightly elongated in order to provide more rear legroom. The addition of the two rear doors means 100 kg added to the total weight of the car. The sloping roofline will be the key element in distinguishing this model from the regular 3-Series. Prices for the car are expected to stand at approximately 6,000 euros more expensive than the F30. More details on the car will probably be announced in Geneva, this March.
