BMW 6-Series Gran Coupe gets updated by Hartge

Hartge has recently unveiled an aftermarket upgrade package for the BMW 6-Series Gran Coupe, in the 640i and 640d versions.

After seeing the BMW 6-Series Gran Coupe back in 2012, the luxurious four-door coupe is entering our news once again, this time with the aftermarket specialists at Hartge developing a new upgrade package for the model. According to the tuning company, the upgrade package for the BMW 6-Series Gran Coupe is only available in 640i and 640d versions, adding a sports suspension with a lowered ride height for the petrol (25 mm, 20 mm) while the diesel can be lowered by 30 mm and 25 mm (front / rear).

Hartge is also offering a power boost for the two models, and while the 6-Series Gran Coupe 640i in standard version is getting 320 HP (235 kW) and 450 Nm of torque (332 lb-ft), with the modifications this can reach 367 HP (270 kW) at 5,900 rpm and 520 Nm (383 lb-ft) of torque available from 2,950 rpm. The diesel 640d Gran Coupe is coming with 362 HP (266 kW) at 4,400 rpm and it has a peak torque of 730 Nm (538 lb-ft) available at 1,800 rpm, compared to the standard 313 HP (230 kW) and 630 Nm (465 lb-ft). No pricing details on these upgrades have been announced yet.
