BMW has announced the official starting price for the 6-Series Gran Coupe in the United Kingdom, which has been set at 61,390 pounds for the base entry-level version.
The first four-door coupe from the German based automaker BMW will finally arrive in the United Kingdom in June in the shape of the 6-Series Gran Coupe, but the company has already announced its official starting price. According to the car manufacturer, the BMW 6-Series Gran Coupe, in the entry-level version, will coming with a 3.0 liter inline six-cylinder turbocharged engine, which is generating a total output of 315 horsepower for 61,390 GBP.
The top of the line BMW 6-Series Gran Coupe will be the 650i, which will start at 70,650 GBP, being powered by the 4.4 liter V8 twin-turbo engine, the same one fitted onto the M6. The unit is developing a total output of 443 HP and it has a peak torque of 650 Nm (479 lb-ft), allowing the model to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.6 seconds.
Diesel lovers will be able to choose the 640d in the BMW 6-Series Gran Coupe, which will be priced at 63,900 GBP. The diesel version is powered by a 3.0 liter engine, which is putting down 309 horsepower, emitting just 148 g/km of CO2 and burning an average of 5.7 liters of fuel every 100 km or 49.6 mpg UK.
