The BMW 6-Series Gran Coupe Shooting Brake M Sport will leave hit the production line pretty soon but before it rolls off, we have a render image of it, along with the convertible and four-door versions of the model.
Even if there isn’t anything official yet about the upcoming BMW 6-Series Gran Coupe Shooting Brake M Sport, the model has been rendered by flickr.com user lightrace, and this wasn’t the only upcoming vehicle made by BMW to attract his attention. Besides the BMW 6-Series Gran Coupe Shooting Brake M Sport, the Flickr user has also “played” with the images of the convertible and four-door versions, and what came up can be seen below, in the gallery.
The BMW 6-Series Gran Coupe has already been tested on the famous German Nurburgring track by the manufacturer and the model will be a direct competitor to the Mercedes-Benz CLS. Even if the 6-Series Gran Coupe has the character of a luxurious grand touring car, the German based automaker has been working on its performance and handling, bringing it closer to its rivals. The 6-Series Gran Coupe will share the same wheelbase with the new 5-Series, and even if it will be similar in size, the upcoming model will be 3.5 inches shorter, wider and lower than both the 5-Series and the 6-Series Cabrio.
The new BMW 6-Series Gran Coupe is expected to share the same engine range with the 6-Series Coupe, with a possible M performance version of the luxurious vehicle being also in the works. The upcoming BMW 6-Series Gran Coupe is expected to be launched sometimes in 2012, as a 2013 model, possibly during a major international auto show, and the vehicle will definitely stand in the six-figure zone.
