The BMW 6-Series Gran Touring is once again placed into the spotlights with a unique rendering, previewing what the model might look like.
With the M6 being under development and the Gran Coupe version being officially presented recently, the BMW 6-Series is getting all the attention these days, and the 6-Series Gran Touring variant isn’t an exception. Even if the German based automaker didn’t release any official details or images about the BMW 6-Series Gran Touring version, we now have an idea on how the model might look like, thanks to theophiluschin.com website and the rendering posted there. Sadly we don’t have any details on the Gran Touring version but the model rendered by our source is quite interesting.
The engine range on the BMW 6-Series Gran Touring might actually be borrowed from the Gran Coupe version which might go on sale in the nearby future for a starting price of 79.500 EUR. For that money, the BMW 6-Series Gran Coupe will come with the 3.0 liter inline six-cylinder engine which will be developing a total output of 315 horsepower. Even if this might seem like a good deal, it actually isn’t compared to its competition, where the Audi A7 Sportback is starting as low as 48.900 EUR for the 2.8 liter FSI unit with front-wheel drive, while the similar A7 with the 3.0 liter TFSI engine (296 horsepower) is starting at 58.600 EUR. The same situation is for the Mercedes-Benz CLS where the 250 CDI is starting at 59.857 EUR (302 HP).
