BMW 640i Coupe M Performance Edition goes official in Japan image

BMW has officially introduced the 640i Coupe M Performance Edition which is exclusive for the Japanese auto market.

The newest creation to be signed by the Bavarian based marque is a special edition of the 6-Series Coupe which has been called the 640i Coupe M Performance Edition and it has been aimed exclusively towards Japan. The model in question is getting the Alpine White exterior finish, along with the carbon fiber side mirror caps, the blacked out front grille, the M Sport Package, the adaptive LED headlights and the 20-inch M light alloy wheels, amongst others.

The vehicle is also getting the BMW Individual high-gloss Shadow Line Exterior, the brake calipers finished in black, the dual exhaust tailpipe with a dark chrome finish, the BMW Individual Ansorajitto Roof lining, the door sill plate, the M badges, M Performance black kidney grille and the same sport styling is being continued in the cabin too, where the carmaker has added the soft-close door, Plus package, gray poplar wood trim, Dakota leather seat, M Performance stainless steel pedal set and carbon selector level grip cover, electric glass sunroof, sports seats, multi-function M sport leather steering wheel with gearshift paddles and more. Power to it is being provided by the 3.0 liter TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder engine, which is capable of putting down 320 HP (235 kW) and 450 Nm (331 lb-ft) of torque, connected to the 8-speed automatic transmission. Prices start from 10,979,000 YEN and production will be limited to just 10 units.
