Prior Design and M&D have decided to showcase their exclusive car design for the updated BMW 650i that has received an infusion of DNA taken from the newly introduced M6 GT3 racer.
If you’re a private driver that takes no part in the motorsport competitions, you won’t be able to use the BMW M6 GT3 on the streets – even though you might fancy such an achievement. Now Prior Design and M&D exclusive cardesign have decided to partner to deliver what can be seen as the next best thing: the PD66XX GT3. They have essentially taken a traditional 650i Coupe, treated it to numerous upgrades – including a massive wide body kit with hulking wheel arches and a trunk mounted spoiler lip – and obtained a neat GT3 clone. Customers will also receive a sports suspension that lowers the coupe by 30 mm and fancy three-piece 21-inch alloys with matte gold finish, wrapped in 255/30 R21 front and 295/25 R21 rear ultra-low profile Continental Sport Contact 5 tires.
Because looks without power are nothing everywhere, not just in the world of racing, the tuners have also taken the twin-turbo V8 4.4-liter for a spin in the workshop and came up with 495 PS (364 kW) and 722 Nm (533 lb-ft) of torque. The finishing touches for the BMW 650i Coupe include the custom sports exhaust system with twin 80 mm diameter tips that received a black chrome finish. The modified 650i Coupe that also comes with the traditional BMW motorsport colors has been put up for sale but the price has not yet been disclosed.
