The inautonews.com team has managed to capture the new generation of the BMW 7-Series on camera once again, as the model was quietly sitting around in a parking lot, in Livigno, Italy.
New spy photos with the 2016 BMW 7-Series have been provided once again as the test mule has been spotted sitting quietly in a parking lot, in Livigno, Italy. This is basically the new generation of the model which will be riding on a heavily updated platform and it will get an evolutionary design, which will make it instantly recognizable and a good alternative to the new Mercedes-Benz S-Class generation.
The new generation of the BMW 7-Series is believed to be officially introduced sometimes next year, which means that it will wear the 2016 model year in its name. The flagship sedan will be using aluminum, steel and carbon fiber materials and the engine lineup will be including the 6-, 8- and 12-cylinder units, with direct injection and turbocharging technologies. Rumor has it that the model will even receive a plug-in hybrid version, with technology borrowed from Toyota, along with an M Performance variant too, with a twin turbo V8. More details on the new 7-Series are limited at this time.
