The German based automaker BMW has recently announced that it will commemorate the 40th Anniversary of the unification of the United Arab Emirates by introducing a very special edition of the 7-Series, named UAE Edition, at the 2011 Dubai International Motor Show, which is officially opening its gates on the 10th of November.
According to BMW, the German car manufacturer has made the 7-Series UAE Edition in order to commemorate the 40th Anniversary of the unification of the United Arab Emirates, and the vehicle is based on the 750Li model, coming in with some interesting features.
The BMW 7-Series UAE Edition is powered by the standard 4.4 liter twin-turbo V8 engine which is developing 407 horsepower and has a peak torque of 600 Nm, allowing the luxurious vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 5.2 seconds, with a top speed electronically limited to 155 mph or 250 km/h.
BMW says that the 7-Series UAE Edition is based on the 750Li model and comes with the UAE logos for the headrests in the cabin, along with the iDrive controller and dark chrome trimming, while the exterior is painted in Marakesh Brown.
The BMW 7-Series UAE Edition will be officially unveiled during the 2011 Dubai Motor Show which is taking place between November 10 and 14.
