BMW 9-Series Concept might debut at Auto China

BMW might pull a surprise on all of us and release a more luxurious and larger vehicle than the current 7-Series, the so-called 9-Series, which will make its way to the 2014 Auto China, as a concept.

The new BMW 9-Series Concept is close to going official, as a concept car at first, as the model in question is said to make its way to the 2014 Auto China. The announcement hasn’t been made official just yet but it’s coming from the guys at Auto Motor und Sport, who are citing company insiders. According to our source, the mysterious concept car will get a “new cockpit philosophy” which will be used, eventually, on the next 7-Series generation.

The model in question is also rumored to offer a preview into a new flagship which might be named the 9-Series. The luxury vehicle hasn’t been confirmed just yet but it seems that it will be riding on the same platform which underpins the next generation of the Rolls-Royce Phantom and the 2015 7-Series. The new model might actually be launched in 2016. Additional details on the BMW 9-Series are limited for the moment and will be announced at the automotive event, if it turns out to be true.
