BMW Active Hybrid 7 Individual Edition launched in Japan image

BMW has officially introduced the Active Hybrid 7 Individual Edition in Japan, where the model in question will be arriving at dealerships starting with December.

BMW’s newest creation is named the Active Hybrid 7 Individual Edition and the model in question has been aimed towards the Japanese auto market. According to the car manufacturer, the luxurious “green” ride will become available exclusively in a Mineral White or Citrine Black color shade, with the exterior modifications such as the BMW Individual badging, the sunroof or the 20-inch alloy wheels.

The interior design of the vehicle hasn’t been left aside either and the German based automaker has added the Merino premium leather upholstery, the Alcantara roof liner, the wood and leather steering wheel, the ash grain white, the walnut satin honey brown wood trim, the piano black, the BMW Individual sill plates and several other tweaks.

The new BMW Active Hybrid 7 Individual Edition has a 3.0 liter TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder engine under its hood, backed up by an electric motor and a lithium-ion battery. The total output produced stands at 349 HP (260 kW) and 500 Nm (369 lb-ft) of torque. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint is made in 5.7s and the average fuel consumption stands at 6.8L / 100km (41.5 mpg UK / 34.5 mpg US). Only 20 units of the model will be produced and each one will cost 13,100,000 YEN, or the equivalent of 95,500 EUR.
