The BMW Activehybrid 3 and the BMW Activehybrid 5 were recently launched in Malaysia, online nurse at Pavilion KL.
BMW says that the AH3 can be bought in Malaysia from RM538,800 while the AH5 will set you back for RM648,800, both prices on the road without insurance but with the BMW Service + Repair Inclusive. Both models are powered by the same 3.0 liter six-cylinder engine used in the 335i and in the 535i, which is producing a total output of 306 HP and 400 Nm of torque. The AH duo is adding 55 HP (40 kW) and 210 Nm of torque to a total output of 340 HP and 540 Nm of torque.
This is enough to allow the BMW AH3 to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.3 seconds and the AH5 in 5.9 seconds. The claimed fuel consumption stands at 5.9 liters of fuel every 100 km in the AH3 and at 6.8L/100km in the AH5. The electric mode in the two models can be used up to 60 km/h and the cars can run on electric power alone for 4 km. The BMW AH3 and the AH5 are already available for order in Malaysia.
