BMW Alpina B7 looks classy in Chestnut Bronze image

BMW Abu Dhabi Motors has decided to take the spotlight in terms of tuned luxury – and they’re showing a new Alpina B7 after kicking off the festivities a while back with a Java Green example.

On this occasion the high-performance luxury saloon is wearing a brown – Chestnut Bronze – shade from the BMW Individual catalog, demonstrating not all bland colors are actually boring. The exterior hue is matched on the inside as well – BMW nicknamed this “Tartufo” (Italian for “truffle”) and suits well the “ALLRAD 038” produced by Alpina for a very special client, for sure. With prices kicking off at $137,000 in the United States we can imagine this particular example – apparently fitted with all the bells and whistles – is way more than $150k.

Anyways, this is as close you can get to an M7, as it uses the Alpina-upgraded biturbo 4.4-liter V8 engine good for 600 horsepower (447 kilowatts) and 590 pound-feet (800 Newton-meters) of torque. While it weighs about as much as a small tank, the B7 Bi-Turbo limousine will reach 60 mph (96 km/h) in as little as 3.6 seconds before maxing out at an unrestricted 193 mph (310 km/h). It’s market dependant, but you can have the Alpina supercar in sedan clothes as a rear-wheel drive or AWD bomb.
