The German based automaker BMW has recently announced its plans to introduce the M3 Frozen Blue Limited Edition to China.

BMW is currently working on the new generation of the M3, but that doesn’t mean that the current E90 is good for the scrap yard, as the company is proving by releasing a new special edition of the model. According to the car manufacturer, the model in question is named the BMW M3 Frozen Blue Limited Edition and it’s aimed towards the Chinese auto market exclusively, where only 40 customers will be able to claim it.

The BMW M3 Frozen Edition will become available to its future customers starting from 1.29 million Yuan, which is approximately 210,000 USD, a supercar price for a powerful sedan which will soon get out of date. For the money, future owners will get the Frozen Blue paint, the blacked out side gills, kidney grille and trims, special edition badges and some other tweaks. No modifications to the 4.0 liter V8 engine will be made, so the unit will still produce 414 HP (309 kW) and 400 Nm of torque (295 lb-ft). The BMW M3 Frozen Blue Limited Edition will be produced in 40 units.
