BMW has officially pulled the wraps off its lineup of emergency vehicles for RETTmobil 2014.
BMW will be saving lives with its lineup of new emergency vehicles as these have been officially unveiled for the RETTmobil 2014. The models include the Gran Turismo 325d, which basically looks like a regular 3-Series Gran Turismo, except for the emergency equipment integrated into it. The 0 to 100 km/h acceleration is made in 7.1 seconds in this model and it can reach a top speed of 240 km/h (149 mph), as BMW said.
The paramedic versions of the BMW X5, in its xDrive30d, and the X3, in the xDrive20d variants, have been also unveiled by the German based automaker, along with an X1 xDrive20d fire command vehicle and an R 1200 RT motorcycle. If these aren’t too “hot” for you, than the BMW M235i Coupe paramedic version should be enough to impress you. This has a 3.0 liter TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder engine under its hood, which is developing a total output of 326 HP (240 kW) and 450 Nm (322 lb-ft) of torque. The 0 to 100 km/h sprint is made in 5 seconds and the average fuel consumption stands at 8.1L / 100km (34.9 mpg UK / 29.0 mpg US).
