Almost every new performance model from BMW has seen an accompanying special series bicycle – so we’re going to assume it’s already Bavarian tradition to have one from now on.
Customers that will see their new BMW M5 in the driveway might also want a matching custom bike for those moments of relaxation and communion with nature – and the German automaker is happy to oblige. So, here’s the BMW M Bike Limited Carbon Edition – even featuring the same Marina Bay Blue Metallic paint as featured prominently on the company’s latest hyper-sedan. And snatching one isn’t going to be easy – just 500 units will be manufactured – even though it’s actually light on your pocket, at 1,400 euros apiece.
The bicycle makes use of a hydro-formed aluminum frame, while the fork, seat posts, and spacers are all made out of even lighter carbon fiber. The set of hydraulic Shimano disk brakes will take care of toning down the atmosphere, even though pedaling hard won’t help you match the grunt of the new M5. The latter comes with the mighty 4.4-liter biturbo sporting 600 horsepower (447 kilowatts) and 553 pound-feet (750 Newton-meters) of maximum torque, sent to that fancy new all-wheel drive system with RWD feature at the driver’s fingertips.
